“One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield”
Lord Alfred Tennyson

The
project is a dedication to Robert Falcon Scott of the Antarctic.
This is a part of the multimedia Heroic project made with
other artists and musicians in St.Petersburg, Russia during
2006. |
Microtonal soundscapes, noise and drones made using guitar feedback accompany
an incredible monotony of Antarctic landscape along with richness of subtle
nuances, produced by the slightest changes of light
|
|
|
The
project requires video projector, screen, two guitar amplifiers
capable to produce a feedback, mid-size table.

Robert Falcon Scott (6 June 1868 – 29 March 1912
Scott was a Royal
Naval officer and Antarctic explorer. Having narrowly
failed to be the first to reach the South Pole, beaten
by Roald Amundsen and his party, Scott and his party
died on the Ross Ice Shelf whilst trying to return
to the safety of their base. Scott has become the most
famous
hero of the "heroic age" of Antarctic exploration.
Scott also made a great virtue of his dedication to science.
